Family Coaching

Working with your family members to rebuild relationships can be one of the hardest parts of overcoming addiction. The 12 Step program includes steps to reconnect with anyone you have hurt through your addiction, and your family and other loved ones are likely on that list. It can be challenging to know where to start when it comes to working through these issues — broken trust takes time to repair, but with the help of your therapist and other recovery specialists, we can help you take the first steps.

When you are ready, working through counseling sessions with your family can be the best way for you to reopen lines of communication and find the right ways to express yourself. It may also be helpful to establish a set of consequences when these agreements are ignored.
